A lot goes into being a Fly Fishing guide. Time on the water is probably the biggest aspect of becoming a successful all around guide. Here in Tampa Bay we have a pretty big estuary, and sometimes you need to cover long distances to get from fishing spot to fishing spot. There is no better fly fishing flats boat to conquer this than the Hells Bay Marquesa. The Marquesa offers a very comfortable ride, even in the worst conditions while also offering a very shallow draft and easy polling capabilities. Paired with the Marquesa is a 2019 Mercury 115ProXS. The ProXS gives me all the power I need to get from spot A to B in rapid time. Without the backrest, the hole shot alone could throw you out of the boat. The Marquesa and the ProXS have allowed me to be on the water more and stay on the water longer even when the conditions are less than ideal. I'm looking forward to taking my clients out on the new boat and putting them on fish all year long.
